Job summary

The University of Newcastle is seeking a Professional Experience Support Officer to coordinate student placements across the College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing, including Rural Health activities in Tamworth. You will work with students, academics and external partners to meet program and accreditation requirements and improve regional health outcomes.

You will manage multiple placement activities, ensure deadlines are met, and provide accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student placements and stakeholder engagement for Department of Rural Health programs.
• Administer high volumes of placements in university systems with accurate documentation.
• Liaise with providers, staff and students to confirm and manage placements.
• Maintain large volumes of compliance and placement data to required standards.
• Provide high-quality administrative support and proactive problem solving throughout placement lifecycle.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
