Job summary

The University of Newcastle is seeking a Professional Experience Support Officer to coordinate student placements and manage the end-to-end placement lifecycle across the Department of Rural Health programs. This full-time role supports Tamworth and regional communities, working with students, academics and external partners to ensure accreditation requirements are met and placements run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student placements and engagement activities for Department of Rural Health programs in Tamworth and regional areas.
• Administer a high volume of student placements in University systems, processing documents and ensuring timely completion.
• Liaise with placement providers, staff and students to secure and manage placements and build stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain large volumes of placement data ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Deliver high-quality administrative support and proactive issue resolution through the placement lifecycle.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
