Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for an initial Brisbane workshop stint, followed by a long-term site project in Moree, NSW. The role involves maintenance of heat exchangers, RB/roster transitions, and travel between sites on a 3:1 schedule.

Expect 10–12 hour shifts with potential night work and Saturday as required. Brisbane workshop work precedes Moree site work; accommodation is provided in Moree.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised pipe fitter or equivalent mechanical trade qualification.
• Industrial pipefitting experience.
• Current CSE certification.
• Current Working at Heights.
• Current EWP/High Risk Work Licence.
• Willing to work Brisbane workshop then Moree on 3:1 roster.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refurbish heat exchangers in the Brisbane workshop.
• Transition to Moree site on a 3:1 roster.
• Arrange BIBO or DIDO transport from Brisbane.

Experienced Pipe Fitters wanted for Brisbane workshop, then Moree on a 3:1 roster. $58/hr + penalties

Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for an initial short-term workshop opportunity in Brisbane, followed by a long-term site-based project in Moree, NSW.

The opportunity

You will commence with approximately 21 days in a Brisbane workshop, completing maintenance and refurbishment work on heat exchangers. You will then transition to the Moree project on a 3:1 BIBO/DIDO roster.

Role details

• Approximately 21 days in the Brisbane workshop
• Transition to a 3:1 roster in Moree, NSW
• BIBO or DIDO from Brisbane
• 10-12-hour shifts
• Day shift with potential night shift
• Saturday work as required
• $58 per hour plus applicable penalties
• $120 per day LAHA while working away
• Accommodation provided in Moree

Requirements

• Australian-recognised Pipe Fitter or relevant mechanical/fabrication trade qualification
• Demonstrated industrial pipefitting experience
• Current Construction Safety Essentials (CSE)
• Current Working at Heights
• Current EWP/High Risk Work Licence
• Ability to work in the Brisbane workshop before transitioning to Moree
• Ability to travel and work away on a 3:1 roster
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Previous experience with heat exchangers, industrial pipework, pipe spools, flange management, isometric drawings, oil and gas, shutdowns, mining, heavy industrial construction or plant installation will be highly regarded.
