Job summary

Alltype Engineering Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Pipefitter to join our compressor station project in the NT. FIFO from Perth on a 3/1 roster with 11-hour days and a duration of roughly 10 months.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant trade qualification with 3+ years in the industry, pass a GTAW weld tack test, and be capable of reading construction drawings, ISO’s, P&ID’s and layouts. White card and Australian work rights required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with 3+ years in the industry.
• Must pass GTAW weld tack test.
• Ability to fabricate to ASME B31.3.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, ISO/PID/layouts.
• White card.
• Australian C-class manual drivers licence.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Plate and structural steel fabrication experience.
• Oil and Gas experience highly regarded.
• Physically fit and D&A compliant.
• Able to start immediately is advantageous.
• Must be safety conscious and focused.
• Able to work under pressure to deadlines.
• Working at Heights and EWP ticket (highly regarded).
• Experience operating hydraulic flange management equipment (Hi-Torque).
• Familiar with flange management traceability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Join pipefitting tasks on compressor station project.
• Complete inductions and pass drug & alcohol tests.
• FIFO from Perth on a 3/1 roster with 11-hour days for ~10 months.

Job Description

Due to growth in the business we are currently seeking an experienced Pipefitterstojoin our team based at our Compressor Station construction project in NT on 3/1 roster.

The successful candidates will be required to complete inductions, to be medically fit and able to pass ongoing drug and alcohol tests.

FIFO from Perth, 3/1 Roster, 11-hour days, approx 10 months duration

Qualifications

• Relevant trade Qualification with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
• Must be able to pass a weld tack test (GTAW)
• Fabrication to ASME B31.3
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, including ISO’s, P&ID’s, layout plans etc
• White card
• Current Australian C class manual drivers licence
• Right to work in Australia.
• Plate and structural steel fabrication experience.
• Oil and Gas Experience highly regarded.

• Ability to start immediately would be highly advantageous.
