Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter for our Brisbane workshop. The role involves fabrication, assembly and installation of industrial piping systems, with a focus on safety and quality in a busy workshop environment.

You will read isometrics, measure, cut and prepare pipework in carbon steel and stainless steel, perform flange alignment, and participate in ongoing, Monday-to-Friday work with a stable workload and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Pipe Fitter or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading isometric drawings.
• Strong pipe fitting and fabrication background.
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipework.
• Workshop or industrial project experience.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting isometric and technical drawings
• Measuring, cutting and preparing pipework
• Pipe spool fabrication and fit up
• Flange alignment and bolt up
• Preparing pipework for welding
• Working with carbon steel and stainless steel pipe systems
• Pipe assembly and installation
• General workshop fabrication activities
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining quality, safety and production standards
