Drive In - Drive Out (DIDO)

Job summary

WSG Eftech International is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters with a strong mechanical background for on-site work at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane. The Drive In - Drive Out arrangement and 10-hour days are part of the project, running from 19 October 2026 to 26 December 2026.

Local Brisbane candidates are strongly preferred; read drawings and comply with safety standards. Australian tickets and site experience are valued assets for this refinery assignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter.
• Strong mechanical fitting background.
• Experience with threaded connections and pipe fittings.
• Industrial / refinery / oil & gas experience highly regarded.
• Must be available for the full project period.
• Ability to read drawings and work independently.
• Relevant Australian tickets and site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pipe fitting and mechanical installation work.
• Installation, assembly and maintenance of piping systems.
• Working with threaded pipe connections, fittings and mechanical joints.
• Reading and interpreting piping drawings, isometric drawings and specifications.
• Measuring, cutting, fitting and aligning pipework.
• Installation of valves, flanges, fittings and associated components.
• Bolt-up and mechanical connection work.
• Assisting with equipment and piping modifications.
• Carrying out work safely in a refinery environment.
• Following site procedures, SWMS/JSA and permit requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping.
