Job summary

Wellwood Health in Loganholme, a boutique studio on the Pacific Highway, offers Reformer Pilates, Clinical Pilates, Yoga and Barre in a warm, community-focused space.

We are growing our timetable and seek a confident instructor who can teach both group Reformer and small-group Clinical Pilates to a high standard, with emphasis on safety, programming quality and member experience.

Qualifications

• Reformer and/or Comprehensive Pilates qualification.
• Capable teaching mixed-level groups and small Clinical classes.
• Strong cueing, programming and modification skills.
• Current First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or ability to obtain).
• Warm, reliable and member-focused.
• Consistent availability.
• Experience with Mindbody or similar studio software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach Clinical Pilates classes (max 3 participants) with clear progressions and modifications.
• Assess new and returning clients, adapt programming, and support members with injuries, post-rehab needs and specific goals.
• Maintain a safe studio environment, including equipment setup, tidy-down and reformer care.
• Build rapport with members and contribute to a welcoming, professional studio culture.
• Work collaboratively with the existing instructor team and studio management.
• Complete class notes, attendance and any required client communication in a timely way.

Wellwood Health is a boutique wellness studio set in a unique cabin environment on the Pacific Highway in Loganholme. We combine Reformer Pilates, Clinical Pilates, Yoga, Barre and therapies in a warm, community-focused space. Our members stay because the teaching is considered, the classes feel personal, and the studio is a place people want to return to.

We are growing our timetable and looking for a confident, comprehensive instructor who can teach both group Reformer and Clinical Pilates to a high standard.

The Role

You will deliver high-quality Reformer and/or Clinical Pilates classes across our morning, afternoon and evening timetable. This is a hands-on teaching role in a small-class environment, with a strong focus on safety, programming quality and member experience.

• Teach Clinical Pilates classes (max 3 participants) with clear progressions and modifications
• Assess new and returning clients, adapt programming, and support members with injuries, post-rehab needs and specific goals

About You

• Reformer and/or Comprehensive Pilates qualification covering Reformer and/or Clinical / rehab-informed teaching (or equivalent recognised training)
• Confident teaching mixed-level group Reformer and small-group Clinical classes
• Strong cueing, programming and modification skills
• Current First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain before start)
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
• Warm, reliable and member-focused — you enjoy teaching people, not just delivering a workout
• Consistent availability (timetable to be agreed)
• Experience with Mindbody or similar studio software is an advantage
