Qualifications

• Certification in Pilates Instruction from a recognized program or equivalent
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Additional fitness instruction qualifications are desirable but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Conduct group or individual Pilates classes based on schedules or client appointments
• Instruct participants in proper techniques ensuring safety at all times
• Demonstrate exercises with modifications for different skill levels

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Pilates Instructor to join our team in Highfields, Queensland. As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting safe and effective group or individual Pilates classes to promote physical fitness and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive environment for clients of all fitness levels.

Responsibilities

• - Conduct group or individual Pilates classes based on established schedules or as per client appointments
• - Instruct participants in proper techniques to maximize exercise benefits while ensuring safety at all times
• - Demonstrate exercises clearly, offering modifications as needed to accommodate different skill levels
• - Provide guidance on correct alignment and breathing techniques during exercises
• - Motivate participants by providing positive reinforcement and feedback throughout the class
• - Monitor participants' progress, provide appropriate adjustments or modifications when necessary
• - Maintain a clean and organized studio space before and after each class/session
• - Stay up-to-date with industry trends by attending workshops or training sessions as required
• - Build rapport with clients by providing personalized attention based on their specific needs/goals

Qualifications
