Job summary

JBS Pork Australia Farming Team is recruiting multiple Piggery Attendants to support the Corowa Site. This full‑time role handles animal husbandry and related tasks to care for livestock, plus basic maintenance across facilities.

Responsibilities include feeding and watering stock, caring for ill animals, implementing ID systems, moving stock, and recording data. Applicants should be able to work weekends and holidays and meet safety and welfare standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with animals (preferred but not essential).
• Sound work ethic with high self-motivation.
• Working knowledge of WHS and QA.
• Preparedness to work some weekends and public holidays.
• Fitness levels to cope with the physical nature of the role.
• High commitment to Animal Welfare.

• Care for sick or injured stock.
• Apply animal identification systems.
• Move, draft and weigh stock.
• Administer routine treatments.
• Transport stock, feed, and equipment.
• Operate farm vehicles, plant, machinery, and equipment.
• Maintain machinery, equipment, sheds, fixtures, fittings, fences, and surrounds.
• Update manual and electronic production records and interpret data.
• Clean accommodation pens, fixtures, fittings, equipment, amenities, and other buildings.
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed.

About the Role

JBS Pork Australia Farming Team is currently recruiting multiple Piggery Attendants to support the team at our Corowa Site.

This full-time position will be responsible for undertaking animal husbandry and related tasks to assist in the care and well-being of Company livestock, along with basic maintenance tasks.
