Job summary

JBS Pork Australia – Farming Team at Corowa is recruiting Piggery Attendants to support livestock care and related maintenance. You will perform animal husbandry tasks, feed and water stock, monitor health, apply identification systems, move and weigh stock, and maintain records.

Responsibilities

About the Role

JBS Pork Australia – Farming Team is currently recruiting multiple Piggery Attendants to support the team at our Corowa Site.

This full-time position will be responsible for undertaking animal husbandry and related tasks to assist in the care and well-being of Company livestock, along with basic maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care, feed, and water for stock.
• Care for sick or injured stock.
• Apply animal identification systems.
• Move, draft and weigh stock.
• Administer routine treatments.
• Transport stock, feed, and equipment.
• Operate farm vehicles, plant, machinery, and equipment.
• Maintain machinery, equipment, sheds, fixtures, fittings, fences, and surrounds.
• Update manual and electronic production records and interpret data.
• Clean accommodation pens, fixtures, fittings, equipment, amenities, and other buildings.
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Skills & Experience
