Job summary

Avion International Australia is seeking a reliable picker/packer to accurately select stock from warehouse locations according to customer orders and RF scanner instructions.

You will pack safely, verify quantities, and prepare orders for dispatch within required timeframes while conducting quality checks and ensuring correct labeling.

Assist with receiving, stocktakes, WHS compliance, and maintaining tidy, hazard-free work areas to meet productivity targets.

Job description

Accurately pick stock from warehouse locations according to customer orders, picking slips, or RF scanner instructions.

Pack products safely and securely to prevent damage during transportation.

Verify item quantities, product codes, and descriptions against order documentation.

Prepare orders for dispatch within required timeframes and service standards.

Conduct quality checks to ensure products are free from defects and correctly labelled.

Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing inbound goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records and report stock discrepancies to supervisors.

Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely, including pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

Keep warehouse work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards.

Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts as required.

Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet operational targets.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations.

Report damaged goods, equipment faults, and safety concerns promptly to management.
