Job summary

Plena Healthcare is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to work across Residential Aged Care and Community, joining a large, collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering personalised treatments.

You will provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support daily living, mobility, transfers, falls prevention, equipment needs, and pain management, while adapting to service needs across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Current AHPRA registration
• Australian working rights
• Willing to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and recommendations for daily living activities, mobility, transfers, falls risk, equipment needs, skin integrity, arthritic joints, and pain management.
• Deliver services in residential aged care and community settings within the OT scope.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide personalised treatments and ensure high-quality client outcomes.

Job description

Your Opportunity:

As a qualified Physiotherapist working across Residential Aged Care and Community, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments. You will be involved in a new innovative way of offering allied health services to our wonderful Clients.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• In the community, the consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through the following government funded models, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Private funding. We are not your typical community provider we set achievable billable KPIs (ask us more).
• Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendation to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and the aged care facilities, and work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.
