Job summary

Plena Healthcare is seeking a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our large multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based, personalised care in Residential Aged Care homes across Australia. You will assess residents, provide mobility and daily living support, and lead group-based active ageing sessions while collaborating with care staff to adjust plans as needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT or PT (eligibility for AHPRA)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Australian working rights
• Willing to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and clinical recommendations to support mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Provide therapy that promotes falls prevention, pain management, arthritic care, and skin integrity.
• Create individualized therapy programs and lead group-based active ageing sessions.
• Collaborate with facility staff to review care plans and adjust therapy as residents' needs evolve.
• Embrace flexibility and collaboration within a caring, forward-thinking team.
