Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah is seeking a Physiotherapist to plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality care across inpatient and day rehabilitation units. The role is fixed-term for 1 year and full-time, with rotation through the IRU and DRU, and alignment with Calvary, NSW Health and SESLHD policies.

You will need AHPRA registration, NSW Class C driver’s licence, strong written and interpersonal skills, time management, and comfort with digital clinical technologies.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA to practice physiotherapy in NSW.
• Current unrestricted NSW Class C driver’s licence.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work with digital clinical technologies and MDT.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality Physiotherapy care to patients.
• Rotate across In-patient Rehabilitation Unit and Day Rehabilitation Unit within CHCK.

About the role

Plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality Physiotherapy care to patients/clients of Calvary Health Care Kogarah (CHCK) consistent with Calvary, NSW Health and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

This position will rotate across Rehabilitation Services within CHCK i.e. In-patient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU), Day Rehabilitation Unit (DRU).

This role is Fixed-term 1 year, Full-time (including ADO's).

Your main duties will include:

Plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality Physiotherapy care to patients

This position will rotate across Rehabilitation Services within CHCK, including In-patient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) and Day Rehabilitation Unit (DRU).

About you

• Qualifications in accordance with NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Professional and Associated Staff Agreement 2022 and AHPRA registration and within their new graduate year on commencement of role
• Current unrestricted NSW Class C drivers’ licence or equivalent.
• Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.
• Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
