Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah is seeking a nurse (0.6 FTE permanent and 1 FTE temporary) to deliver delegated patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will contribute to assessment, intervention, and evaluation of health status while communicating with the RN about changes.

You'll work within NSW Health guidelines and strive for positive outcomes, with a support team and opportunities for professional development and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required and current.
• Ability to work in Calvary Health Care Kogarah's mission and values.

About the role

Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in line with NSW Health guidelines and local protocols, you'll deliver delegated patient care while retaining full accountability for your practice. Your responsibilities span assessment, intervention, and evaluation of individual health and functional status with consistent communication to the RN regarding any changes. You'll apply critical thinking to support care decisions and work collaboratively with the broader healthcare team to involve patients, families, and carers in planning and achieving positive health outcomes.
