Job summary

Brightwater Care Group in Western Australia seeks an experienced Physiotherapist for casual maternity leave cover across south-of-the-river aged care sites, including The Cove in Mandurah and The Oaks in Waikiki. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess clients, determine goals, and support mobility, respiration and comfort within residential, rehabilitation and community settings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• National Police Clearance obtained within the last 12 months.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Physiotherapist to join our team on a casual basis to provide maternity leave cover across our south-of-the-river residential aged care sites, including The Cove in Mandurah and The Oaks in Waikiki.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to meet the needs of Brightwater clients. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing clients, determining their individual capabilities, and setting realistic goals. You will facilitate the achievement of these goals while optimising functional performance in relation to mobility, respiration, and physical comfort within residential, rehabilitation, and community settings.

What You'll Bring

• A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physiotherapist within residential aged care.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of people.
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workloads, work effectively under pressure, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• A recent and satisfactory National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 12 months).
