Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in Warwick and surrounding areas. You will deliver in-home care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain independence in the community.

Role includes on-road visits, essential driver’s licence, and a focus on compassionate, person-centered care; casual shifts available with salary packaging options and superannuation benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent - Essential
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
