Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to support older Australians in Ballina and surrounding areas. Deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions under aged care funding programs, focusing on reablement and restorative care to help clients live independently at home.

You will join a supportive team guided by the Well-Living® approach, working with other health professionals to optimise mobility and confidence in daily living.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings.
• Understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
• Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Aligned with BaptistCare’s values and mission.
• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Unrestricted driver’s license with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions for aged care clients.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support clients in Ballina and surrounding areas.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Ballina and surrounding areas. You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. About You

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration

• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models


• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Demonstrated computer literacy

• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)


• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
