Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to support older Australians in Canberra and surrounding areas. You will deliver assessments and interventions under aged care funding programs to help maintain or regain independence, mobility and confidence to live at home.

Join a supportive team using Well-Living® approaches, with flexible work-from-home options and a focus on reablement and restorative care. AHPRA registration and a physiotherapy degree are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience assessing physiotherapy needs and developing programs for aged care clients in the community.
• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings.
• Understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Current first aid certificate and unrestricted driver’s licence.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Canberra and surrounding areas. You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. About You

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration

• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
