Brighton Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time position in our in-house rehab program at our Brighton, CO facility. The role focuses on screening, planning, and delivering rehabilitative care to geriatric and post-acute patients, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and quality outcomes.

New grads are welcome and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required. The team values compassionate care and collaborative practice within our post-acute care

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary interventions.
• Perform standing/walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plans including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Brighton Care Center in Brighton, CO is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitive, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
