Job summary

SunDrive in Sydney, Australia, is seeking an early-career Production Technician to operate and support SunDrive’s solar cell production line, collaborating closely with engineering teams.

You will conduct hands-on experiments, perform post-result analysis, and contribute to characterisation of solar cells, helping to advance our patented technology and accelerate learning within a dynamic renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• PV engineering background and understanding of solar cell fundamentals.
• Experience in testing, reporting and data analysis for experiments.
• Ability to design, execute and analyse large processing experiments (100+ samples).
• Solar cell laboratory/manufacturing exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organise and prepare production runs to support safe, smooth and efficient operations.
• Operate and monitor equipment across laboratory and production line.
• Handle materials and chemicals, maintain stock records and report needs.
• Perform routine characterisation and analysis using established procedures and report results.
