Job summary

Supaglu is seeking skilled Keyframe Creature Animators for a remote, 1-month contract focused on photorealistic live-action animation. You will deliver high-quality creature performances, working with Animation Leads and VFX Supervisors to refine shots across the project.

Candidates should have strong Maya experience, a compelling reel demonstrating creature work, and the ability to work independently within a remote production schedule that aligns with Australian production hours.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in 3D creature animation.
• Proven ability to create photorealistic keyframe animation.
• Experience with short-form projects such as commercials or advertising content.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality keyframe creature animation for photorealistic live-action work.
• Produce believable, naturalistic movement grounded in anatomy and real-world reference.
• Develop strong body mechanics, weight and physical performance.
• Work from briefs, references and supervisor direction.
• Take animation shots through blocking, refinement and final delivery.
• Respond to creative feedback and revisions.
• Deliver polished work within a fast-paced short-form production schedule.
