Job summary

Scotch College Western Australia is seeking a driven Manager of Philanthropy and Advancement to grow the College’s fundraising and donor engagement capability at our Perth campus. You will shape the philanthropy programme, build strong donor relationships and secure support for scholarships, facilities and initiatives.

You will report to the Director of Admissions and Advancement, lead major gifts, and drive the long-term strategy to expand philanthropic revenue across the Scotch community.

Qualifications

• This role requires proven success in philanthropy, fundraising or related fields and the ability to cultivate senior stakeholders.
• Experience building donor relationships and securing investments or strategic gifts.
• Strong communication, proposal development and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the philanthropy strategy and annual fundraising plans.
• Build and steward relationships with major donors, alumni and community supporters.
• Identify and secure major gifts, endowments and bequests.
• Lead annual appeals and targeted fundraising initiatives.
• Create compelling cases for support and donor communications.
