Job summary

Cencora is seeking a seasoned leader to manage pharmacy support operations, ensuring throughput and quality targets across queues and tasks. You will coordinate audit-ready records, logs, and reconciliations, and provide concise manager-ready summaries with KPI impacts.

This role requires 3+ years in pharmacy support within a regulated environment, plus an Associate’s degree or higher and Lean Six Sigma or licensure preferred. You will train staff and drive process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in pharmacy support and operations within a regulated healthcare environment.
• Experience managing queues, documentation, and quality control.
• Certification in process improvement or related licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily pharmacy support workflows by assigning tasks, monitoring queues, rebalancing work and removing blockers to meet service levels.
• Coordinates creation and accuracy of audit-ready logs and reconciliations; corrects discrepancies and prevents recurrence.
• Explains practices and policy implications to align stakeholders on timelines, quality standards and documentation requirements; prepares manager-ready summaries with KPI impacts.
• Acts as first-line escalation for complex cases; triages and resolves within authority or escalates with supporting evidence.
• Pilots small automations or tooling enhancements per policy; documents outcomes and recommends scale-up or rollback.
• Directs cross-training and adjusts staffing during peaks and absences; coaches peers on standard work and issue resolution.
