Job summary

National Pharmacies is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our North Adelaide team and support our mission to deliver outstanding service and care to our members and customers.

In this role, you'll assist with daily retail operations, provide expert product advice, and help maintain stock and merchandising standards to ensure a superior customer experience on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and information to support customers.
• Drive member and customer engagement and contribute to monthly membership sign-up targets.
• Complete daily retail tasks, prioritising customers and maximising sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly sales budgets and maximise profitability through proactive selling and merchandising.
• Ensure operating standards are followed during retail sales and stock management.
• Support pharmacy services to maximise sales and customer care.
• Provide solutions and alternatives to customer enquiries, referring to the pharmacist as required.
• Follow Pharmacy Medicines (S2) and Pharmacist Only Medicines (S3) protocols in every interaction.
• Ensure date checking and rotation of stock to minimise wastage.
• Set up retail promotional activities and planograms in line with campaigns.
• Maintain compliance with legislation and policies.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Keep the retail area neat and tidy.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and take accountability as directed by management.

National Pharmacies is seeking enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistants to join our North Adelaideteam and support our mission to deliver outstanding service and care to our members and customers.

In this role, you'll support the retail area of the pharmacy by ensuring smooth daily operations, providing the best advice on our products and services and deliver the experience our members and community expect.

The successful candidate must have the availability to work the following roster:

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with legislation and documented operating policies and procedures.

• Ensure the retail area of the pharmacy is reflecting company standard by keeping the store neat and tidy.
• Working collaboratively with your teammatesandtaking accountability for your own tasks and responsibilities set by your manager.

About You

• Genuineinterest in health, wellbeing, and customer service.
• Previousexperience in a pharmacy or retail environment (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communicationand customer service skillsboth in person and over the phone.
• Ability tothrive in a busy environmentby serving multiple customers at once and multi-tasking

• Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (advantageousbut notrequired)
