Job summary

TerryWhite Chemmart Bell Park in Geelong is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant who can deliver excellent customer service and work well within a team. You will handle customer inquiries, assist with product recommendations, and support pharmacists with daily tasks.

Pharmacy experience is ideal but not essential. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability and a genuine desire to help customers with health solutions in a community pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every customer.
• Customer service - Listening to customers and helping them find the right health solutions.
• Triaging pharmacy work flow and supporting pharmacists with customer requests, phone enquiries, scripts in/out.
• Processing sales accurately.
• Stock control - Stock ordering, receiving and maintenance. Expiry checks.
• Merchandising and maintaining attractive display and compliant planograms.
• Keeping the pharmacy clean, organised and presentation-ready.
• Assisting in the dispensary, with training provided.
• Delivering medications to local customers when required.

Most of our customer conversations are about health needs, mental health support, medications, minor ailments, vaccinations and finding the right product or service to help. We believe that by focusing on health and creating great customer experience is how we make a positive impact on our community.

What you'll be doing

Your role will include:

Hours

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 9:00am–5:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am–12:30pm, alternate Saturdays
