Job summary

Prime Pharmacy Group in Churchill, VIC is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional customer service in a community pharmacy setting.

You will take in prescriptions, assist with dispensing under supervision, manage stock, assist with promotions, and help with store presentation and daily tasks. Part-time hours vary; flexibility to cover rosters is valued.

Pharmacy Assistant – Chemist Discount Centre Churchill

Are you passionate about customer service and looking to build your career in community pharmacy? Chemist Discount Centre Churchill is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pharmacy Assistants to join our team. We currently have two part-time opportunities available, however full-time applicants who can cover a combination of both rosters are encouraged to apply.

Roster Option 1

• Thursday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm (Saturdays are negotiable and may only be required during busier months)

Roster Option 2

• Monday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
• Tuesday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
• Alternating Saturdays: 9:00am – 1:00pm (Saturdays are negotiable and may only be required during busier months)

Additional hours and fill-in shifts may be available. Flexibility to assist with leave coverage and busy periods will be highly regarded.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers and supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Taking in prescriptions
• Handing out prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Serving customers throughout the store
• Register and EFTPOS operation
• Stock replenishment and merchandising
• Assisting with catalogue and promotional activities
• Store presentation and cleaning duties
• Supporting the pharmacy team with general day-to-day tasks
