Job summary

Star Discount Chemist Emu Park is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant for a part-time role. You will deliver exceptional customer care, advise on health and beauty products, assist with prescriptions, and manage POS operations. This position supports a busy community-focused team in Emu Park.

The role emphasizes strong communication, a neat appearance, and a customer-first attitude in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting. Monday–Wednesday and Fridays availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pharmacy or retail is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with a professional presentation.
• Ability to work Monday–Wednesday and Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on health and beauty products.
• Assist customers with prescription submissions to our pharmacists.
• Invoicing and stocktaking.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash handling.
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Promote current sales and product offerings to customers.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our team, helping us deliver exceptional customer care. In this role, you’ll:
