Job summary

United Chemists West Mackay is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) required.
• Current General Registration with AHPRA.
• Available to work weekends on a rotating roster.
• Prepared to work as Pharmacist in Charge when required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacist Manager and team in daily operations.
• Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications.
• Provide professional healthcare advice and counselling on medicines.
• Deliver services including vaccinations and other clinical services where applicable.
• Manage dispensary workflow for efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy legislation and company policies.
• Build relationships with customers and local healthcare providers.
• Support achievement of service and business objectives.
