• $170K package including accommodation close to the pharmacy and travel support.

This unique island location offers a relaxed lifestyle, strong sense of community and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to healthcare across remote communities. Access is straightforward from Cairns, with a connecting flight followed by a short ferry journey.

Job Specification

As Pharmacist in Charge, you will oversee dispensary processes, regulatory compliance, customer service and staff supervision while working alongside three Pharmacists, three Dispensary Technicians and approximately 10 additional staff.
The pharmacy uses Z Software, with an important component of the role involving supply to Remote Aboriginal Health Services with their being some opportunity to visit with remote communities. This is something that is shared amongst the Pharmacists as it's someting everyone wants the chance to experience.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.15pm and Saturday 9.00am-12.30pm. Standard weekday hours include a one-hour lunch break, with Saturday morning work being usually 1 in 4 as Sole Pharmacist.

Salary & Benefits:

A package of approximately $170K is offered, inclusive of $65 per hour Monday to Friday, $70 per hour Saturdays and superannuation. Fully provided Self-contained Accommodation easy walk to the pharmacy and annual flight allowance.
