Star Discount Chemist Minlaton is seeking an experienced Pharmacist or Pharmacist In Charge to lead our team on a 12-month maternity leave cover. Located on the Yorke Peninsula, this role offers an ideal coastal lifestyle with strong back-office support.

You will oversee daily operations, drive patient-centered care, manage budgets and stock, and mentor a high-performing team. This position commences November 2026 and provides above-award remuneration, quarterly bonuses, and clear pathways

Formación

• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist is required.
• Proven leadership or management experience in a pharmacy setting.

About the Role:

As the Pharmacist Manager Or Pharmacist In Charge, you will oversee daily store operations, lead a dedicated team, and drive patient-centered care. This role commences at the start of November 2026 for a 12-month period.

• Leadership: Mentoring pharmacists, technicians, and retail staff to foster a positive, collaborative environment.
• Operations: Managing budgets, stock control, and key performance metrics.
• Clinical Excellence: Delivering professional services, managing 8CPA programs, maintaining QCPP compliance, and offering expert patient advice.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
• Proven leadership or senior pharmacist experience with strong workflow management skills.
• Excellent communication and a passion for community health engagement.
• Vaccination accreditation, current Police Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
