Job summary

BJP Laboratories on the Gold Coast is seeking a Sales & Administrative Support Officer to join our growing pharmaceutical contract manufacturing business. The role emphasizes customer service, quotation accuracy, and coordinating critical operational processes.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organisation, communication, and attention to detail, supporting multiple departments including R&D, QA and Production, with a focus on timely order fulfilment and documentation integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and documentation/compliance
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for pricing and quotations
• Experience in purchasing, sourcing, and supplier negotiations (advantageous)
• Customer-focused, proactive and solutions-driven
• Experience in sales support, administration, or regulated environments (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Respond to new business enquiries via email and phone within agreed timeframes
• Prepare accurate quotations with attention to compliance and technical detail
• Source and negotiate pricing for materials and components
• Collaborate with Account Managers on customer queries
• Manage workflows including POs and WOs to ensure timely completion
• Handle product specifications, approvals, and label control
• Coordinate with R&D, QA, Production, and Logistics for order fulfilment
• Maintain quotations, pricing data and sales records
• Provide reception support when required
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Sales Manager
