Job summary

The Royal Sydney Golf Club is inviting applicants for two PGA Associate positions, full-time or part-time. You will begin the 3-year PGA Associate Program in 2027 while gaining hands-on experience across golf operations, coaching support, retail and member service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette and regulations.
• Eligible to enrol in or enrolled in PGA of Australia Associate/Traineeship program.
• Competitive playing handicap or demonstrated golfing ability.
• Member-focused outlook with passion for member service.
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist PGA Professional team and Golf Operations staff in day-to-day golf shop and course operations.
• Support delivery of Men’s and Women’s golf events, entries, draws, handicaps and results.
• Provide friendly, professional service to members and guests.
• Assist with coaching programs, clinics and junior golf initiatives under PGA guidance.
• Support golf shop retail operations including merchandising, stock management and POS.
• Complete coursework and requirements of the PGA of Australia 3-year Associate Program.
• Assist with setup and administration of member competitions and club events.
• Undertake general golf operations and administration duties as required.
