Job summary

Petbarn in Sydney is seeking an experienced Pet Stylist/Groomer to join our team in Balgowlah. You will perform grooming services, provide client consultations and manage bookings and invoicing while upholding pet welfare and client satisfaction.

The role offers a comprehensive training path, staff discounts, progression opportunities and a stable 52‑week income with a supportive grooming development manager.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional grooming experience.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment and breed/coat types.
• Ability to handle consultations, bookings, invoicing and operational tasks.
• Experience in operations management and team management.
• Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day.
• Strong customer service with excellent dog handling and breed knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services per client requirements and breed standards.
• Provide consultations, quotes, bookings and invoicing as needed.
• Assist with ordering, inventory and daily operations.
• Support team management and grooming scheduling.
• Maintain high standards of pet welfare and client communication.

What do we need?

• Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management

• The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
