Job summary

Pet Circle Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant – Customer Experience & Operations (Onsite) to join our Pemulwuy pharmacy team. This casual, on-site role supports high-volume customer service and pharmacy operations, with a focus on accurate order processing and patient care.

You will handle email, live chat, and occasional calls, manage prescription and order records, and help keep stock and SOPs aligned with regulatory requirements. On-site hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, five days a week.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in fast-paced customer service or operations.
• Pharmacy or dispensary experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first approach.
• Ability to follow SOPs and regulated processes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class customer service in high-volume, complex environment via email and live chat, with some outbound calls.
• Take end-to-end ownership of customer enquiries about orders, deliveries, prescription requirements and pharmacy ordering.
• Manage prescription-related administration and correspondence with customers and veterinary clinics.
• Complete administrative checks of prescription and order information per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Accurately pick, pack, label and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Identify and resolve issues delaying prescription processing, liaising with customers, clinics, pharmacists and delivery partners.
• Support stock receipt, inventory management, and general pharmacy operations.
• Maintain accurate records across customer service, order management and pharmacy systems.
• Voice of the Customer: share insights to improve processes.
