Job summary

Rentokil Initial Group in Australia is hiring a Pest Control Technician to service commercial and residential customers across Parkes central west. You’ll work on-site, solving pest challenges with autonomy, supported by a national brand known for safety and professional development.

You’ll inspect, plan and implement pest control measures, drive a company van, and build lasting client relationships while complying with pre-employment checks and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Pre-employment medical, references and police checks required.
• Experience working independently to achieve targets.
• Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and clients both verbally and in writing.
• Confident using a mobile app/tablet.
• Manage, maintain and build upon client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation.
• Determine the type of treatment to eliminate pests.
• Design and carry out a pest management plan.
• Apply pest control methods such as traps or baits.
• Drive a company van equipped with power spraying equipment.

As a pest control technician, you’ll be responsible for working with commercial and residential customers in and around the Parkes central west area to keep their premises pest-free.

Key responsibilities:

• Inspect buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation or pests
• Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate the pests;
• Design and carry out a pest management plan
• Apply suitable pest control methods such as setting of traps or baits to infested areas;
• Drive Vehicles equipped with power spraying equipment.

At Rentokil Initial, we take care of the training, but what we do need from you is:

• Valid Australian driver’s licence

• As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical, references and police checks

• Experience working independently to achieve set targets
