Job summary

Full Circle Partners in Perth is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a major data transformation program on a 12-month contract. You will deliver scalable data solutions using the Databricks ecosystem, while mentoring and uplifting the internal data engineering team.

The role involves collaborating with technical leads, architects and stakeholders to establish standards, designs and best practices across the data platform.

Qualifications

• Senior data engineering experience with modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark expertise.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for complex transformations.
• Experience mentoring and uplifting engineering teams.
• Proven ability to design scalable data pipelines and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks.
• Mentor data engineers and promote best practices.
• Develop data migration, replication and transformation strategies.
• Ingest data from APIs, SQL sources and streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Implement CI/CD and infrastructure automation for data platforms.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
