We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a well-regarded consultancy, delivering and optimising enterprise data solutions. This role is ideal for a data professional with deep expertise in AWS and Databricks, looking to work on complex, large-scale data environments while collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a hands-on technical role, designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and platforms that are reliable, scalable, and secure.

Base pay range

A$800.00/daily - A$850.00/daily

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise data pipelines and processing solutions using AWS and Databricks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance optimisation.
• Support and mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and technical guidance.
• Implement data governance and operational best practices to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical expertise for incidents and problem resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and data engineering practices.
