Piper Alderman is seeking a talented lawyer with 2–4 years of post-admission experience to join our growing Real Estate team in Perth. You will work on complex commercial property matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development transactions, while collaborating with Partners and a national team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years post-admission experience in property advisory and transaction work in Western Australia.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and deliver high-quality legal advice.
• Strong critical thinking and legal analysis skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and not rely solely on technology, including AI tools, when preparing advice and documents.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Partners and the broader team.
• Exceptional attention to detail, drafting skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Commercial property transactions and advisory work
• Acquisitions, disposals and leasing across a broad range of sectors, including industrial, commercial, agricultural, mining, renewable energy, residential, aged care and retail
• Capital transactions and property investment matters
• Property development transactions, development agreements, joint ventures and other complex property arrangements
• Pro bono matters alongside your commercial practice
