Job summary

Cisco Systems Australia Pty Limited is seeking a Solutions Engineer in Perth to join a high-performing team. You will partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales capacity, design customer solutions, deliver technical demos, and run PoC activities to demonstrate Cisco value.

You will create BoMs, educate customers, and collaborate with Cisco engineers, partners, and CX to support multiple lifecycle stages. Strong networking background and CCNP/CCIE desirable.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical customer-facing experience; preferably pre-sales, or post-sales adoption and implementation.
• Strong background in Networking and one or more pillars: Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Cloud and AI Infrastructure and IoT.
• Experience with Cisco technology or solutions or relevant competitors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Join the Perth-based team as a Solutions Engineer in a pre-sales technical function.
• Partner closely with Account Executives to design solutions that meet customer outcomes.
• Present Cisco solutions, deliver technical demonstrations, and run PoC activities.
• Create BoMs and articulate the business value of Cisco offerings.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and work with partners and CX across customer lifecycles.
• Continuously develop technical and consultative skills and stay updated on portfolio acquisitions.
