Job summary

Cisco in Perth is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role. You will be a trusted technical advisor, designing solutions and running PoCs to help customers achieve outcomes.

You'll present Cisco solutions, build BoMs, conduct technical demos, and collaborate with engineering, partners and CX to support customers through their lifecycle. A strong networking background and communications skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical customer-facing experience, preferably pre-sales.
• Strong networking background with Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Cloud and AI Infrastructure and IoT.
• Experience with Cisco technology or solutions or competitors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role.
• Identify opportunities and define solution options aligned with customer priorities.
• Articulate business value of Cisco solutions and educate customers on differentiation.
• Provide architectural perspective across the Cisco portfolio as a trusted adviser.
• Drive adoption and successful operation of Cisco solutions using internal and partner resources.
• Continuously develop technical and consultative skills and best practices.
• Stay updated with new portfolio acquisitions, industry trends and market drivers.
