Job summary

nbn is seeking a Field Engineer based in Perth to join the WA services team and support FTTP, 5G and HFC networks. You will conduct field audits, assist with network augmentation, and resolve faults while representing Field Services in field-based assurance activities.

Frequent statewide travel, after-hours work, and on-call duties are required. You’ll work with GPON, DWDM and Ethernet architectures to ensure connect quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field experience in maintaining and restoring telecom infrastructure.
• Experience with FTTP/FTTH deployments and network assurance.
• Ability to manage fault escalation and field audits within tight SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field-based assurance and fault resolution for nbn networks.
• Support integration, augmentation and upgrades of FTTP, 5G and HFC networks.
• Perform field audits and ensure connect quality and partner performance.
• Respond to escalations and participate in after-hours on-call roster.
