The role requires a degree in Geotechnical Engineering with 15+ years in mining, strong leadership, and ability to travel extensively to international sites from Perth.

Qualifications

• A degree qualification in a relevant mining-related Geotechnical Engineering.
• A minimum of 15 years working experience in the mining industry.
• Willingness to undertake extensive business travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of geotechnical designs to support long-term asset initiatives.
• Coordinate compilation of geotechnical design charters with projects/operations and manage priorities.
• Support the application of geotechnical standards, processes and procedures on projects and plans.
• Provide direct leadership to an engineering team and manage multiple workstreams.
• Report progress to senior geotechnical leadership and project management.
