Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a passionate Personal Trainer for Higher State Melbourne Airport. The role focuses on delivering personal training to members on an as-needed basis, supported by reception/gym shifts to help you build your client list.

You will be part of an 800 m² health club located in Melbourne Airport, open 24/7 with staffed hours. The ideal candidate holds Cert IV in PT, current First Aid/CPR, WWC, and police check, with availability for peak times.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert IV in Personal Training required.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Police check required as part of employment process.
• Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal training to members on an as-needed basis.

Personal Trainer

The Venue

Higher State Melbourne Airport is an 800 m² health club and wellness centre located within the new Novotel & ibis Styles complex at 29 Service Road, Melbourne Airport. It's about a five-minute walk from Terminal 4. It was developed as a premium fitness, recovery and wellness facility, rather than simply a hotel gym. The gym is open 24/7, staffed between the hours of 6 am–8 pm, with the pool and sauna operating during staffed hours.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic fitness professionals committed to delivering high levels of customer service and support to our members who can deliver personal training to members on an as needs basis.

Skills & Attributes:

• Knowledge of current health & fitness procedures and practices.
• Personal Training with a variety of different clientele.
• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills.
• Driven to succeed with friendly can do attitude
• Experience in instructing group fitness classes
• Minimum Cert IV in Personal Training
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Valid Working With Children Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Current Pool Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain one
• Availability to work peak times of 6am-9am, and/or 5pm-8pm weekdays
• Available at least 4 mornings or evenings per week

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
