Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a dynamic Personal Trainer for our Melbourne Airport location. This employed role offers 15-20 hours of reception/gym floor shifts initially to build your client list, with additional sessional pay for PT sessions outside shifts.

We value customer service and strong communication, and require Cert IV in Personal Training, Senior First Aid, CPR, and Working With Children/Police checks. Availability for 6am-9am and/or 5pm-8pm on weekdays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Cert IV in Personal Training.
• Senior First Aid and CPR certificates required.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Police check required.
• Pool Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal training to members on an as needs basis.
• Provide high levels of customer service and support to members.
• Assist members in achieving their fitness goals.
• Contribute to group fitness activities as needed.

The Venue

Higher State Melbourne Airport is an 800 m² health club and wellness centre located within the new Novotel & ibis Styles complex at 29 Service Road, Melbourne Airport. It's about a five-minute walk from Terminal 4. It was developed as a premium fitness, recovery and wellness facility, rather than simply a hotel gym. The gym is open 24/7, staffed between the hours of 6 am-8 pm, with the pool and sauna operating during staffed hours.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic fitness professionals committed to delivering high levels of customer service and support to our members who can deliver personal training to members on an as needs basis.

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of current health & fitness procedures and practices.
• Personal Training with a variety of different clientele.
• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills.
• Driven to succeed with friendly can do attitude
• Experience in instructing group fitness classes
• Minimum Cert IV in Personal Training
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Valid Working With Children Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Current Pool Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain one
• Availability to work peak times of 6am-9am, and/or 5pm-8pm weekdays
• Available at least 4 mornings or evenings per week

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
