BlueCare, part of the UnitingCare Queensland family, is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in Kingaroy and surrounding areas. You will provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance as per each client’s Care Plan, with mobile visits across the community.

The role is casual, requiring a Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent, a current Australian driver’s licence, and a roadworthy vehicle. You’ll join a compassionate team delivering high-quality care.

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) is required.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work is essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
• Ability to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to clients in their homes for scheduled visits and provide one-to-one support.
• Deliver in-home personal care including showering, hygiene, meal prep, cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Follow each client’s individual Care Plan and adapt as needed.
• Support clients with community activities and social engagement.
• Assist with transportation, shopping and appointments.

About The Role

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role Requirements

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
