BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Personal Carer to deliver in-home support across Redcliffe and surrounding areas. You will assist clients with daily living tasks, followCare Plans, and help maintain independence in their homes.

The role focuses on respectful care, community engagement, and practical support such as transportation and light household duties. A Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent is required, plus a valid Australian driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Essential qualification: Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent (Individual Support).
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
• Vehicle to use for work must be roadworthy and insured (Third Party Property minimum).
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops.
• Ability to pass probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-home personal care and support to clients in their residences.
• Assist with daily living activities including showering, meals, housekeeping, laundry and ironing.
• Follow individualised Care Plans and promote independence.
• Support clients with community-based activities and transportation to appointments or shopping.

• Remuneration: $36.32 p/hr (+ Casual Loading) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts

About The Role

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role Requirements
