Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer at Mackay Homefield Aged Care Facility to provide compassionate daily living support, aligned with care plans and client independence.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or related field, plus comfort with technology and passing probity checks. Salary packaging and Not-for-Profit benefits included, with shifts at the Mackay site.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility.
• Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plan.
• Supporting clients with community-based recreational and social activities.

Remuneration: $36.32 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

About the role

As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
