Job summary

Collarcare is seeking dedicated Personal Care Workers to support residents across the Sunshine Coast in aged care facilities. You will assist with daily living, medications, meals, and comfort, while upholding infection control and holistic care principles.

Ideal candidates have Certificate III in Individual Support, current CPR/First Aid, and Australian work rights, plus willingness to obtain Police Check and NDIS clearance. Join a team focused on consistent, relationship-based care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• COVID vaccination (including booster).
• 3 months minimum experience in an Australian aged care facility.
• Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Valid work rights in Australia.
• Current CPR & First Aid.
• NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care and grooming.
• Document residents' condition and assist with medications administration.
• Assist with meals and monitor nutrition.
• Maintain infection control and prevention.
• Support the registered nurse to deliver holistic care.
• Assist in admission and easing transitions for residents and families.
• Liaise with residents, family, doctors and allied health staff.
• Act in accordance with aged care standards on every shift.
