Job summary

Calvary Health Care in Mirboo North, VIC is seeking compassionate Personal Care Workers to join Calvary Strzelecki. This permanent part-time role offers meaningful resident support and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support residents to live the life they choose, enabling choice and independence.
• Assist residents in one-on-one activities aligned to the care plan for wellbeing.
• Contribute to physical, emotional and lifestyle needs through assessment and observation.
• Deliver personal care tasks within an established framework, including daily hygiene (showering, shaving, dressing, mouth/eye care, continence).
• Assist residents needing mobility support as per the care plan.

• Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence
• Assist the resident in one-on-one activities that support their well-being inclusive of hobbies and interests that are aligned to the care plan
• Contributes to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation
• Works within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including but not limited to daily hygiene for example showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care and continence management
• Assist residents who require assistance with mobility as per care plan

About You

• Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
• Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, or health care
